Kristof Deak
Kristof worked as an editor before becoming a director for film and TV. Based between London and his native Budapest, his credits include viral campaigns, music videos, short films, dramas and comedies.
Kristof is fascinated by rhythm, pacing and timing. Music and sound provide the chief inspiration for his projects, along with the happy accidents and friendships that occur through the filmmaking process.
His film Mindenki (English title Sing), the story of a legendary Hungarian choir, is currently doing the festival circuit, winning the Audience Award at Toronto Film Festival 2016 and the Grand Prix at Shorts Shorts Film Festival Tokyo.
